January 28, 2014, in the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of  Moscow  was held  a meeting of the MCCI Committee  of promotion  of foreign trade activities , which was attended by the Minister of Moscow Government, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, Chairman of the MCCI Sergey Cheremin, vice president of MCCI Suren Vardanyan, and  other  members of the committee.

The meeting summed up the activities of the Chamber in 2014 and announced prospects of development of foreign economic relations of Moscow in 2015.

During the visit of the Moscow delegation to Italy in May 2014,   a program of cooperation with Rome for three years was sighned, and  also  was held  The Economic Forum .  In November 2014 a responsive  visit of the mayor of Milan Giuliano Pisapia in Moscow were organized and Days of Milan and Business Forum "Milan-Moscow 2014. The new conditions. New Opportunities and Prospects" were  conducted.

One of the most important topics of the meeting was the participation of Moscow companies in the World Expo 2015, which will focus on food security and will be held in Milan from May to October 2015

In this regard, the Chairman of the  Italian Commission Konstantin Krokhin proposed to hold  a  bilateral conference on the eve of the opening of the Expo (in March-April 2015),  which will  be devoted to economic cooperation and the participation of the Russian side in the events of world EXPO, he  also noted the necessity for an early formation of the official Moscow delegation to world EXPO in May 2015.

Konstantin Krokhin also proposed to develop cooperation with Italian regions and consider holding the Days of the region of Lombardy and Piedmont in Moscow, because  these regions  have a significant economic potential.
