The Italian Commission of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry acted as a partner of the Russian-Italian business event TASK FORCE 2018, which took place on November 29-30 this year in the city of Florence (Tuscany region) and was devoted to bilateral cooperation in the field of Fashion, "green energy" and industry.
The event was co-organized by the Ministries of Economic Development of the two countries, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA-ICE) and the Tuscany Region Administration. Representatives of the Italian Commission coordinated the work of the round tables on "green energy" and the fashion industry.
The event was attended by over 300 participants - entrepreneurs and representatives of the institutional structures of the two countries. During the working sessions, advanced and promising developments of Italian companies were demonstrated, the B2B-session was successfully held.
The system of the Russian Chambers of Commerce and Industry was represented at the event by the Vice-President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elena Dybova, who, in her speech at the Plenary meeting, emphasized the special importance of Italy and the great importance for Russian partners of the experience of Italian companies in the field of small and medium-sized businesses, called for more active entry into the Russian market and using the capabilities of the CCI system to promote innovative products and modern technologies.
Chairman of the Italian Commission K.V. Krokhin noted the high level of development of Italian companies in the field of "green" energy and recycling, pointed to the high demand for such technologies in the Russian regions. At the same time, Konstantin Krokhin warned against the unjustified expectation of mutual investments in the current geopolitical reality and suggested paying more attention to the advancement of advanced technologies, including in the “Made with Italy” format, the development of real industrial cooperation and the creation of joint ventures, which should lead to change the format of bilateral cooperation, including events of the TASK FORCE type.
In order to increase the effectiveness of bilateral economic cooperation, Konstantin Krokhin called for more active involvement of chambers of commerce and business associations of the two countries in these processes, transferring to them more and more competences in this matter, since state authorities, due to their nature, cannot solve pressing development tasks specific industries or types of business activities in an international format. This is, by definition, the task of the business community.
