20.02.2016 the President of the MCCI Italian Commission has given an interview on the air of a popular Italian Radio station Radio 24 (Gruppo “Il Sole 24 Ore”), dedicated to a Russian-Italian economic cooperation.

In his statement K. V. Krokhin told about successful projects in the transport sector. Such as "Delimobil"( the first car-sharing project in Russia, that had been undertaken with the support of Italian capital - Holding "General Investment" Vincenzo Trani), or MMB-project – joint venture of the largest Italian company in governance area and transport infrastructure -“Metropolitana Milanese" and Russian Railways(RZD).

This one was created to support a project of passenger service of MKZD with usage of modern transport-interchange points. The sides also discussed issues of industrial cooperation, transfer of Italian technology and innovations in the field of energy or resource saving and environmental protection. Mr. Konstantin Krokhin highlighted the significant achievements of such cities as Milan and Turin in modernizing their own transportation infrastructure, effective restructuring of former industrial zones, transformation of public spaces and developing cultural and social projects.

For this reason 2016 was declared the Year of Italian-Russian interregional cooperation, in the first half of which are already planned interesting  bilateral events in Milan (April-May), Turin (March-April) and Bergamo (June).
