February 25, 2014,  the first Italian MICE-Workshop 2014  in Russia  was held  in the framework of the Year of Tourism Italy - Russia at the hotel "Radisson Royal Hotel” in   Moscow.

 An unique event, the largest exhibition EXPO-2015, which will be held from May 1 to October 31 in Milan,  was presented  in this event. Opening the presentation, the Head of the ENIT Domenico Di Salvo, noted that the exhibition EXPO-2015 will be the largest business event in Italy next year.

The Chairman of the MCCI Commission  on international  trade  cooperation with partners in  Italian Republic Mr.  Konstantin   Krokhin participated in a presentation and discussed urgent issues of participation of enterprises in the Moscow Expo-2015, as well as a series of joint Italian-Russian activities identified in 2014.

The theme of Expo 2015 is  "Feeding the planet. Energy for Life ", it will help visitors to know the world through culture, history and achievements of more than 142 member countries (35 European, 39 African, 30 Asian, 14 Mediterranean and eastern and 21 American countries).

According to some estimates, Expo will attract more than 20 million visitors from around the world. Within six months, for cultural and recreational activities will work pavilions of participating countries, thematic exhibitions and outdoor areas. The exhibition, covering an area up to 1 million square meters, will be located more than 60 pavilions and thematic platforms, dedicated to the cultural and culinary traditions of the whole world.

In the course of the exhibition will be affected by economic, scientific and social problems associated with the production and consumption of food.
