July 17, round table «BUSINESS development in Russia - importance of master planning» was held in the gallery VHUTEMAS. The landscape architects, designers, business representatives and guests discussed the importance of nature conservation in a metropolis. There are only 1.6 sqm of vegetated land for each  inhabitant in Moscow, which is 5 times less than the minimum standard set by WHO (World Health Organization).

In his speech Mr. Krokhin said that at the stage of industrial development of Moscow the environmental protection and maintenance of nature were not a priority. Today the situation is changing, and Moscow authorities listen to experts, who can share their experiences and knowledge on landscaping. Therefore, it is a favorable situation now to come together and develop new standards, laws, strategies, improvement of ecological environment and landscaping. Mr. Krohkin said, "We all want to live in good conditions and in harmony with nature. So we need to think about the future and make Moscow comfortable for our life."

The exhibition will be held at the gallery VHUTEMAS until 30 July.
