10 June 2015. K.V. Krokhin, Chairman of the Italian commission MCCI took part in ceremonies to mark the National Day of Russia at Expo 2015 in Milan, under which bilateral meetings and negotiations of the President of Russia V.V.Putin and Italian Prime Minister M. Renzi.

The ceremony was held in the Russian pavilion, it is  one of the most popular.
Russia at the time supported the request of Italy to host the exhibition, and the Italians seem to remember it.

Russian President and Prime Minister of Italy, visitors met Russian flags, applause and shouts of "basta sancioni" - something like "Down with sanctions." At The relations between Russia and Italy this issue is very hot. In the context of Western sanctions against our country and the Russian response, including a ban on the supply of products from Europe, Italy - one of the countries that bear the sanctions in this war a huge loss. At the beginning of this year, Italy has already lost more than half a billion dollars.

"In 2014 in Russia put together one of the highest yields of grain, more than 105 million tons. This is possible not only to fully meet its own needs, but also to significantly increase export capacity to 30 million tons. Russia is the third country in the world in the export of grain. Of course , special attention deserves part of the exhibition called "Open Kitchen" where cooks from different regions of Russia are preparing multiple original Russian and other national dishes. Cooking classes and tasting different drinks are holding.
