July 28-31, 2014, The Chairman of the MCCI Commission  on international  trade  cooperation with partners in  Italian Republic Mr.  Konstantin   Krokhin  visited two  Italian cities:   Milan (Lombardy region) and Piacenza (Emilia Romagna).

Several issues were discussed during this visit,  such as  the  organization  of the  world exhibition EXPO  2015,  the  increase of the  bilateral cooperation between  Italian and Russian entrepreneurs in existing economic conditions,  the  development of cultural and educational cooperation between the regions. Special attention in the negotiations was paid to the possibility of  the placement  of Russian visitors to EXPO 2015 in organized groups and business missions of special programs.

 The Italian representatives   confirmed a principle decision  to hold  the Days of Milan  in Moscow  in November 2014, an agreement on which was reached during   the Days of Moscow in Milan on 29-30 May 2014.
